Patricia Preston is a native of Fort Worth, TX.  She is the daughter of late Bezell Barefield and Ruby Thomas.  She graduated from Polytechnic High School, received a Bachelor of General Studies from Texas Christian University.  

Patricia Preston has been a member to Baker Chapel A.M.E. church since 2008.  She is the Administrative Assistant for two years at the church.  She serves as the President of the Health Ministry and is actively involved with other ministries of the church.  She was ordained as a local Deacon in September 2018, she is a student in the Board of Examiners seeking to be a local Pastor.  She has a son Darius Murray, daughter Trina Murray and two grandsons.
