Melvin L. Nays, Jr.
Melvin is the son of the Late Melvin L. Nays, Sr. and Hester Nays. He graduated from P. L. Dunbar high school in Fort Worth, Tx., received a Bachelors of Political Science from the University of Texas at Arlington and an MBA from Texas Women’s University.
An ordained an Itinerant Deacon in the African Methodist Episcopal Church in 2006, he has pastored Greater Edwards Chapel A.M.E. church in Palmer, Tx. Currently he lovingly serves the people of Baker Chapel A.M.E. in Fort Worth, Tx. In whatever area that is needed. He is an active member of The Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, a Prince Hall Master Mason, a skilled Barbeque grill master, the World’s Greatest Son, Brother, Uncle, God-Father, Husband, and Car collector.
I like good conservation and healthy dialogue about the Word of our Lord and Savior. In my personal vocation, I get to use the word to help the people of this country during times of natural disasters and show the world that “God is real” in my soul. Be Blessed on purpose.
